Arguably
the most significant Op 1 of any composer, this piano concerto was
written in Russia in 1891 by the 18 year old composer. Soheil Nasseri, an
American pianist based in Berlin, plays this long time favourite
piano concerto in St. Petersburg, performed there in January, 2013 in
the St. Petersburg Philharmonia
